Excellent. We use Rescue Remedy (pet version) for all of our animals when they are under more stress than usual. Good to hear the human versions work well, also.

As for my stress coping mechanisms, I also do breathing exercises, meditation, long bubble baths while I read, reading (great distraction), going for a walk - usually with my dog, and watching engrossing TV shows and movies (more distractions.)

For Christmas, I gave my wife and daugher both the little mechanical device called The Chill Pill. It is suppoed to help with sleep and stress issues. Though they have only tried them a few times, both agree that they don't seem to work well for sleep, but they do lower their anxiety levels when used while they are experiencing the event. I tried it once so far as a sleeping aid and feel it did help.

Good luck to you - and Aikya.
