Thank you for sharing. I came out when I was 21. This was back in the 80s. It wasn’t a huge ordeal for me. Sure, there was a bit of drama at first. My mom was worried and scared for me. It didn’t take too long to settle down and my family totally accepted me for who I am. I was lucky. It is so important to share our stories and help those people who are struggling to find acceptance and their own identity.
