Very helpful review of a book I probably wouldn't have considered. That is terrible people were asking her about her skirts and make-up. Not so very different from what many female politicians have had to deal with. Ugh!

You make a good point about the cover, although, if the picture was more like those on the "Lady Death" side of your main image, I would just assume it was a "horrors of war" story and not pick it up. Also, the cover seems to match the these of Quinn's other books. What cover would you have liked to see?
